BACKUS — A 59-year-old Powers Township woman was injured Thursday, July 3, in a two-vehicle collision on Highway 371 in Cass County. The Minnesota State Patrol responded to the crash at 6:10 p.m. in Powers Township, north of Backus. According to the crash report, a 2018 Jeep Renegade was northbound on Highway 371 when a 2007 Honda Accord, eastbound on Highway 87, attempted to cross Highway 371 and was struck by the Jeep on the passenger side.
