PJ believes that a woman paid a man to kill her husband in the Azores. They were both arrested

Victim died from alleged health problems. PJ suspected and, seven months after the murder, arrested his widow and a man he allegedly hired to kill her husband.

The victim died in August last year and, at the time, the death was attributed to natural causes, but information received later raised suspicion of a crime and the PJ opened an investigation.

A 45-year-old woman planned and concealed the murder of her husband, killed by his cousin in his sleep.

The man had health problems and was believed to have died of natural causes. But suspicions led to the exhumation of the body. The woman he was living with is one of the detainees.

A woman and a man were in preventive detention after being arrested on suspicion of the crime of murder, in a case that dates back to last summer, on Terceira Island, in the Azores.
