Even the Police Did Not Recognize the Identity Mistake. Woman Put Sister in Debt, Punishment Applies
The Court of Appeal in Ústí nad Labem confirmed a two-year prison sentence for 30-year-old Dominika B., who misused her sister's identity and borrowed hundreds of thousands of crowns in her name. The defendant's tears and words that she wanted to fix everything and pay off her debts did not soften the senate. The case is extraordinary in that neither the police nor the court recognized the identity swap.
Woman Charged With Theft Of Identity
A woman was charged with theft after an investigation into her identity at her job on Commerce Court Wednesday afternoon. Hopkinsville Police say they were called to Grupo Antolin for a woman using a false name and located 23-year-old Yesica Morales-Mancia, who after being given a warning about giving a false name to law enforcement, showed her Republic of El Salvador identification card. She was arrested and charged with theft of identity.
