Wisconsin governor's race shifts to toss-up with Tony Evers not on the ballot

WISCONSIN, UNITED STATES, JUL 30 – The open-seat race features multiple strong candidates from both parties with a super PAC-backed Republican raising over $2 million, making the contest highly competitive, analysts say.

The last time Wisconsin voters cast ballots in a gubernatorial election that didn't include an incumbent candidate was in 2010.
