Wisconsin finally unlocks $130 million to address PFAS contamination

- Allocations include $80 million for a community grant program and $35 million for an expanded Well Compensation Grant Program, while shielding landowners from liability for contamination.
- Addressing the local impact, the governor said, "Today we’re here to start a new path forward," noting the importance for Wisconsinites' water safety.
- The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources will hire 10 new staff members using $1.3 million in funding, while $5.25 million in grants will assist public airports and businesses.
