Microsoft apparently plans to integrate an internet speed tester into the Windows 11 operating system. Insider testers of current beta versions of Windows found references to an option to check internet speed (“Perform speed test” and “Test Internet speed”) in two places in Windows 11: once in the network icon in the taskbar and once on the Wi-Fi quick settings page.

Internet problems reduce productivity, even if the connection speed is normal. Usually, different sites were used for verification, but this may not be necessary soon.
