- Modi conducted an aerial survey around 4:15 p.m. of the disaster-hit mountainous areas and chaired a high-level review meeting at Jolly Grant Airport with state and central officials.
- Since April, natural disasters in the state have resulted in 85 deaths, 94 individuals still missing, and 128 people seriously injured, alongside the destruction of assets valued at Rs 1,944 crore, including essential infrastructure such as transportation routes, educational institutions, electrical networks, substations, and irrigation systems.
- The Centre announced Rs 1,200 crore in immediate aid, a reconstruction scheme under PM Awas Yojana, and promised support for infrastructure restoration and rehabilitation efforts.
