- While the Ministry proposed creating a directly elected UT-level body under an Article provision, delegation members received only a PowerPoint presentation rather than a detailed "draft proposal" defining legislative or executive authority.
- The group had postponed a planned padyatra from Kargil to Leh on September 10, designated as part of "Martyrs' Month," to engage in talks; however, warned the march could be revived if substantive progress remains absent.
- Wangchuk stated the agitation would begin about five days before September 24, the anniversary of violence in Leh, marking continued impasse over Ladakh's political and constitutional future.
