Amit Shah also revealed that after the last assembly elections in 2020, Nitish Kumar had approached Prime Minister Narendra Modi, emphasising that Bihar should have a Chief Minister from the BJP, as it had secured more seats than his party.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah stated from the "Panchayat Aaj Tak-Bihar" platform in Patna that the legislative party would decide who would be the Chief Minister after the NDA's victory. He clarified that the election is currently being fought under the leadership of Nitish Kumar, and that both the BJP and the people of Bihar have full confidence in him.
