Will it lose its UNESCO status? Bohemian Paradise Geopark faces problems due to the sale of stones

The Bohemian Paradise Geopark is in danger of losing its UNESCO label. According to inspectors, it cooperates with institutions selling precious stones of unclear origin, Czech Radio-Radiožurnál reported. It could also be so-called blood stones mined under problematic conditions in Africa. For the park, losing its UNESCO label would mean exclusion from the worldwide network of these organizations and a possible outflow of tourists.
