The Horse Fire burning in the Bridger-Teton National Forest in western Wyoming on Tuesday has come within 2 miles of a historic fire lookout post on Prospect Peak. The outpost has been covered in an aluminum-based wrap as a precaution.

MOSCOW, ID – Moscow Rural Fire Department Volunteers extinguished a wildfire that burned some timber East of Moscow Monday afternoon. Units were called to the blaze off Crumarine Loop Road shortly after 12:00. Chief Brian Nickerson says the fire likely started by a spark from a farm implement that was being used in the field.
