GENESIS UNVEILS OFF-ROAD X SKORPIO CONCEPT; NEW CONCEPT CAR STRATEGY

At a Middle East event in the United Arab Emirates, Genesis revealed the X Skorpio concept, an armour-clad extreme off-road V-8 inspired by Dakar racers and designed for harsh terrain.
Genesis is pursuing a new concept strategy focused on off‑road models, with the X Skorpio previewing a production model alongside Magma performance vehicles launching in Australia later this year.
It is built on a tubular frame with a full roll cage, riding on black 18‑inch beadlock wheels wrapped in 40‑inch tyres with motorsports‑grade Brembo brakes, tuned suspension, skid plates, racing harnesses and a sliding digital dash.
The concept signals possible racing ambitions as Genesis enters the World Endurance Championship this year, but none of the UAE vehicles are confirmed for Australia and a Genesis spokesperson gave no official comment.
Donckerwolke framed concepts as signals for the brand's future, saying each concept reveals the DNA of Genesis' future, while Genesis has also shown a ute concept and hinted at an electric pickup.
