Saint Paul Hotel Sold to Group Led by Minnesota Wild Owner

The buyers plan a top-to-bottom overhaul with updated rooms, a new lobby and more dining options, officials said.

St. Paul's most iconic hotel traded hands for the first time in 44 years. Minnesota Wild owner Craig Leipold, who has long had a penthouse suite in the hotel, is the new majority owner; others in the ownership group include a pair of east-metro Fortune 500 companies.
