Nearly 150 birds were found in Nice, in two apartments in the city centre. Volatile birds, for many in poor health, lived in deplorable conditions. They were seized and entrusted to a specialized association.
A complaint was filed for "maltreatment" against a couple, who nevertheless intend to recover their birds. At this stage, they were placed in quarantine in the greenhouses of La Volière, in Allos (Alpes-de-Haute-Provence).
