Why would a PUD be good for Franklin County?

Yikes! The most “transparent” (as they say) group of commissioners in Franklin County have not told us why they want a Planned Unit Ordinance (PUD) here. Why not?  If they are going to vote for something that will affect our community for years to come, shouldn’t they be eager to detail and justify all the so-called benefits a PUD will afford us?  My neighbors and I want to know why high-rise resorts, population influx, more traffic and congesti…
