Why many Americans are turning to AI for health advice, according to recent polls
More than half of recent users say they use AI to research health questions before or after doctor visits, while 14% skipped care, Gallup found.

- While AI aids many, outcomes raise concerns: 11% reported receiving unsafe advice, 14 million adults skipped provider visits based on AI information, and trust remains divided with 33% trusting and 34% distrusting the technology.
