The EBA Director explained why the "shadow" economy in Ukraine continues to thrive. Due to the weakness and ineffectiveness of state institutions in Ukraine, transparent "white" businesses that operate openly and pay all taxes become an easier target for audits than companies in the shadow sector. Anna Derevyanko, Executive Director of the European Business Association (EBA), explained this in an interview with RBC-Ukraine.
