Memorial Day is on our calendars to reflect on the cost of our freedom. Many of you place flags at the beautiful Amelia Veterans Cemetery and attend a ceremony there—thank you. I spend some time looking at the names and dates on veterans’ cemetery tombstones, wondering about their lives and how they served.
