Jesús Chuy García, a politician and activist, a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, rejected, along with other local elected officials, the statements of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Immigration and Customs Control Service (ICE) that “unwise blame local activists” for the murder of a man in Chicago at the hands of an agency official, after he resisted a raid.
A Mexican man has been killed by an ICE officer when, according to authorities, he drove his car into officers.
