A 28-year-old laboratory technician who worked for the Institute for the Control of Irkutsk plague in Siberia died, reported several Russian media on Friday.
The United States has decided to address an official diplomatic note to Russia requesting more information about the death of an employee of the Irkutsk region's pest control institute, stating for The Washington Post (WaPo) well-informed sources. According to them, the diplomatic note, or the march, should remind the Russian side of international obligations to inform the other states in good time about outbreaks of infectious diseases.

The US government stated that it is preparing measures for a more serious situation regarding the suspected death of the Russian Research Institute plague (plague) and is urging the Russian side to fully disclose information. The World Health Organization (WHO) also requested information from Russia on parts that have not been clearly clarified, such as the “second case outbreak theory.”
After the death of a technician working at a pest control institute, Moscow denied any outbreak in Irkutsk. But Washington officially called for "more information" in Moscow.
