Bury Teen Admits 'Synagogue Shooting Manifesto' and String of Terror Offences
Damian Woolfenden admitted posting extremist material and a personal attack manifesto, with judges citing writings that promoted violence against targeted groups.
On Friday, 18-year-old Damian Woolfenden pleaded guilty to 12 terrorism offenses at the Old Bailey in London, appearing via video link from HMP Forest Bank in Bury.
Woolfenden admitted posting extremist content on the 'pro-white' platform White Pilled, including manifestos from Andres Breivik, who killed 77 people in Norway, and Christchurch attacker Brenton Tarrant.
Documents revealed Woolfenden wrote his own 'personal manifesto' outlining attack plans, in which he stated he would 'wait until after an election in 2028.'
Mrs Justice Cheema-Grubb remanded Woolfenden in custody, stating she saw 'mindset material by the defendant which seems to advocate violence against groups,' with sentencing scheduled for Manchester Crown Court on December 4.
Woolfenden also admitted stirring up hatred against Jews and 'foreigners' by publishing material on Telegram promoting 'white racial superiority' ideology.
