Whistleblower David McBride walks free from prison

- Sentenced to five years and eight months by the ACT Supreme Court, McBride will serve the remaining three years of his term in the community under supervision and conditions.
- More than 2,700 supporters participated in an email campaign coordinated by The Information Rights Project, with general manager Nevena Spirovska stating, "He's served his time, he's stood for the truth."
