Whigham Dairy Road closing to non-local traffic this month

Whigham Dairy Road is scheduled to close to non-local traffic from Feb. 23 until Nov. 20, 2026, the Georgia Department of Transportation said in a press release Thursday. While exact dates are subject to change depending on weather or other unforeseen events, the construction will affect the road between State Route 38 and State Route 97/308.
