Documents scanned with this tool can then be shared in PDF format. The scanning process takes place on the user's smartphone, via the APIs offered by Google on Android.
Meta's email application is about to integrate a native document scanner, ending the need to juggle with third-party applications. This feature, already under test, promises to considerably simplify the sharing of administrative documents or receipts directly from a conversation.
