The Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge (MITECO) has opened a public consultation on the reduction in the European protection of the wolf, approved in mid-April and now to be ratified by the European Council before it enters into force. The deadline for submitting allegations will be extended until 12 June, which must be sent by ‘email’ to buzon-sgb@miteco.es.
