A survey conducted by GÜNDEMAR revealed that citizens are not optimistic about the economy, which is considered one of Türkiye's most important problems, even for the year 2026. The speeches given by President Erdoğan and Finance Minister Mehmet Şimşek on the economy have also failed to convince the public. Only 12 percent of respondents believe the economy will improve by 2026.
