Dignity Act Aims to Soften Blow of Deportations, Faces Growing Opposition

UNITED STATES, JUL 21 – The Dignity Act allows undocumented immigrants arriving before 2021 to work legally and avoid deportation by completing a seven-year program with required payments and compliance.

As the Trump administration ramps up immigration enforcement, a bipartisan push in the House seeks to offer certain migrants illegally in the U.S. a chance to remain in the country and keep working without offering a path to citizenship.
