Christopher Rüping's "All About Earthquakes" investigates the power of love with the help of Kleist, bell hooks and Eurodance at the Wiener Festwochen.

The Wiener Festwochen operate this year as "Republic of Love". It is fitting that a theatre production deals with the socially changing power of love. On Saturday, Intendant Milo Rau came to the final applause for "All About Earthquakes" on the Volkstheaterbühne and was pleased that the evening had become just as much as he wanted it. Not everyone shared his joy, and the emotional shock of these Earthquakes kept within limits.
