The agents of the Office Français de la Biodiversité (OFB), mobilized to monitor the Laennec high school in Pont-l'Abbé, after entering the courtyard of a wild boar female and her marcassins on Tuesday morning, would have found no animal presence in recent hours. The mayor and a high school teacher call for calm and moderation after the strong reactions of some defenders of the animal cause.
A petition collected more than 30,000 signatures following the intrusion of six wild boars into the compound of the high school of Pont-l'Abbé (Finistery) on Tuesday, May 27th. She claims that the animals have since been locked inside before killing them. The mayor, Stéphane Le Doaré, replies that this is not true.
