Western Mass. pond could reopen if water sample is cleared after possible dirty diaper

A Wilbraham pond is expected to reopen on Wednesday after it was closed for two days because of a possibly used diaper. The pond at the Spectacle Pond Recreation Area was closed on Monday and Wednesday because of “what looked like a diaper” in the water, Wilbraham Parks and Recreation Director Bryan Litz told MassLive.
