Wellsburg City Council approves mower purchase

WELLSBURG – The Wellsburg City Council approved the purchase of a new mower during its regular meeting Aug. 4.       The mower will cost $13,600. The city will sell its old mower for $8,000, making the total cost of the new mower $5,600.       City Clerk Heather Beving reported that the last day the city pool would be open was Aug. 13 and that aerobics would continue for one more week. She said attendance had been good this year.
