Weightlifting: Good performances from the Maltese at the IWF Youth and Junior World Championships in Lima

The Maltese weightlifting team put in an excellent performance at the IWF Youth and Junior World Championships held in Lima, Peru, with three athletes showing determination,  at an international level. The first to represent Malta was Kim Camilleri Lagana, in the 55kg Group B Category. Kim opened with a strong Snatch of 71kg.
