Family, friends, sports colleagues and the public said goodbye to weightlifter Ota Zaremba on Monday in Havířov. The Olympic champion from Moscow 1980 died on Friday, January 23, at the age of 68. A native of the now defunct village of Louky nad Olší, he is one of the Czechoslovak sports legends. He won gold at the Olympic Games in Moscow, where he also celebrated two world weightlifting titles.
