[Yomitan] A memorial service for people from the Korean Peninsula who were forcibly taken to Okinawa as "military husbands" or "comfort women" and sacrificed as such during the Battle of Okinawa was held in front of the "Hannohi" (Han monument) in Senaha, Yomitan Village on the 28th. The Okinawa Hannohi Association organized the ceremony, and about 70 people, including its members, related parties, and university students, participated.
