Transfer: Chelsea Confirm Deal for Caleb Wiley
ENGLAND, JUL 22 – Wiley aims to build on 10 appearances last season at Watford after recovering from a shoulder injury sustained at Strasbourg, Chelsea said.
- Rejoining Watford on loan, Caleb Wiley returned on a season-long loan from Chelsea, announced Tuesday by Associated Press, marking his return ahead of the new campaign.
- Following his midseason injury, Wiley was recalled from RC Strasbourg and debuted at Watford on March 8.
- Under Tom Cleverley, Wiley made ten appearances and two assists, highlighting his valuable playing time in the English Championship.
- Watford’s Gian Luca Nani said `We are delighted to have secured Caleb on loan once more`, adding that `his attitude is incredible`.
- The season starts on August 9, Watford opens the 2025-26 campaign at Charlton Athletic, and owner Gino Pozzo has stated ambition to challenge for Premier League promotion.
