Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav arrived in Rewa to review the situation and directed the speeding up of relief and rescue operations. So far, approximately 700 people have been rescued and transported to safer locations.
The two-hour rain that fell in the city on Saturday once again exposed the poor drainage system. Many wards and low-lying areas were flooded.
