Highland Township firefighters rescued a man from Lower Pettibone Lake after his boat flipped over. Highland Township Fire Chief Nick George said the man was trying to restart the motor on the small fishing boat when the boat flipped over. The man, who George described as in his 80s, wasn’t wearing a lifejacket and was about 100 yards from shore. The lake covers nearly 90 acres with depths from two feet to 29 feet.
