The North Liberty Fire Department helped TV9 demonstrate how quickly a small field fire can become so much bigger.

Burning dry vegetation can have devastating effects. Since the beginning of the year, over 560 fires have been recorded, destroying 1,600 hectares of vegetation, 20% more than last year. The Environmental Protection Inspectorate announces that it may increase fines.
