Washington hosts Milwaukee to open season

On Wednesday, the Washington Wizards host the Milwaukee Bucks in the season opener at 7 p.m. ET, with Washington favored at-5.5 and an over/under set at 238.5.
The Bucks revamped their roster by firing head coach Doc Rivers and hiring Taylor Jenkins, then trading Giannis Antetokounmpo and Bobby Portis to the Miami Heat for All-Star Tyler Herro and three others.
Coming off a 17-65 season, Washington signed Trae Young to a four-year, $212 million extension and acquired Deandre Ayton to pair with star Anthony Davis.
Fans may have to wait for Washington rookie AJ Dybantsa's debut, listed day-to-day with an ankle sprain, while Milwaukee rookie Nate Ament is also questionable for Wednesday.
Wizards head coach Brian Keefe emphasized sustainability, saying "Can we build something that is consistent and repeatable for ourselves?" as the focus for his rebuilding team this season.
