Waseca woman charged with medical assistance benefit fraud

A Waseca woman has been charged with two counts of felony suspicion of perjury in writing and a third of wrongfully obtaining public assistance after she allegedly bilked the state’s Medical Assistance program out of more than $35,000 by failing to disclose income of an individual she lived with.
