The Minister of National Education was reassuring to the college students who were prevented from going to the patent tests on Thursday 26 June because of the storms that struck the country on Wednesday night. She assures that none of them will be "penalised by this weather".

The "violent thunderstorms are erupting from the north-east of the country", with a "significant drop in temperatures on Thursday" reports Météo-France in its last bulletin on Thursday morning, raising all the orange vigilances.
The five departments of Hauts-de-France (Aisne, Nord, Oise, Pas-de-Calais and Somme) are placed in orange alert for storm hazards, expected from the end of the afternoon, this Wednesday 25 June 2025. The Oise is also in yellow vigilance at the floods.
