Bodies of 1,000 victims returned to Ukraine – Coordination HQ
The bodies of 1,000 deceased, according to preliminary data, servicemen have returned to Ukraine as part of repatriation measures, the Telegram channel of the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War (HQ) reported on Thursday.
On the night of Wednesday 16th to Thursday 17th July, a new salve of Russian drones targeted Ukraine, killing Dnipro and wounding several people in the Dnipropetrovsk area. While Moscow handed over the bodies of 1,000 Ukrainian soldiers and received, in exchange, the remains of nineteen of its own fallen soldiers, the governors of Belgorod and Voronezh reported one dead and several wounded.

Russia has handed over the bodies of another 1,000 fallen Ukrainian soldiers to Ukraine, a Kremlin adviser said on Thursday, part of an agreement reached at the second round of talks in Istanbul in June.
Russia and Ukraine today exchanged the bodies of soldiers fallen under the Istanbul pact, Russian presidential adviser Vladimir Medinsky reported. "Following the Istanbul agreements, another 1,000 corps of soldiers from the Ukrainian Armed Forces were handed over today to Ukraine," said Medinsky. Russia's chief negotiator in talks with Ukraine added that they received 19 bodies from Kiev from their deceased troops.
