Walmart Parking Lot Robber Charged
A Port Huron man will go to jail for a robbery outside a local Walmart store St Clair County Circuit Court Judge Cynthia Lane sentenced Eric Chippewa to a year after his charge of armed robbery was reduced to unarmed robbery as part of a plea deal. Police had previously said that Chippewa approached a truck driver in the parking lot in Fort Gratiot and asked for $20 from the truck’s driver.
