Shoppers at the Owens Cross Roads Walmart this month are enjoying a newly expanded pickup center created with 3D printing.The 5,000 sq. ft. structure is held up 16-foot walls of 3D-printed concrete, and is only the second project of its kind, according to a recent release from Walmart.

Walmart Inc. of Bentonville and construction technology firm Alquist 3D LLC of Greeley, Colorado, have a completed a 3D-printed expansion of a Walmart Supercenter in Owens Cross Roads, Alabama, boosting speed and cost efficiency compared to a previous project.
