Suspicious fire in Ft. Walla Walla Natural Area prompts investigation - Elkhorn Media Group

WALLA WALLA – The Walla Walla Fire Department was dispatched at 8:28 p.m. Thursday to Blueberry Trail in the Fort Walla Walla Natural Area, south of Poplar Street and north of Fort Walla Walla Museum, for a natural vegetation fire. Walla Walla County Fire District No. 4 also responded as part of a mutual-aid agreement. Firefighters were able to contain the fire to approximately 2.5 acres in size. No injuries were reported.
