Wales change four as Tandy calls for better discipline v France
- On Friday, Wales coach Steve Tandy announced four personnel changes and two positional switches for the France national rugby team match, saying `There are a few changes for this week` as Leicester back-rower Olly Cracknell will make his Guinness Six Nations debut on Sunday .
- Following last week's 48-7 defeat at Twickenham, Steve Tandy said Wales were bitterly disappointed and addressed discipline issues after receiving four yellow cards in meetings.
- Aaron Wainwright shifts to blindside flanker, Alex Mann moves to openside, Josh Macleod drops out of the matchday 23, while Rhys Carre and Tomas Francis replace Nicky Smith and Archie Griffin.
- Wales are still seeking a first Six Nations win since 2023, and reports earlier this week claimed more than 18,000 tickets remain unsold for the Principality Stadium.
- Having reverted to a traditional 5-3 split, Tandy keeps Taine Plumtree on the bench as back-row cover while Ryan Elias returns and the Scarlets playmaker earns his eighth cap opposite Fabien Brau-Boirie.
