Wakakusayama Burning in Nara: Flames Light up the Night Sky as a Traditional Winter Event in the Ancient Capital (Kyodo News)

The traditional winter event, "Wakakusayama Burning," was held in Nara City on the 24th, with orange flames burning the slopes of Mount Wakakusa and lighting up the night sky. Just before the ignition, about 600 fireworks were launched.
