Would you be willing to spend 21 days in bed and contribute to science? The scientific research center is preparing the seventh Bed Rest study, for which they will need 10 healthy women and 27 healthy men. In return, participants are offered 21 days of supervised rehabilitation in a selected fitness center and 4,000 euros gross. And what will they investigate in three weeks?
The Koper Scientific Research Center is looking for ten healthy women and 27 healthy men, aged between 18 and 35, who would lie in bed at the Izola General Hospital for 21 days at the end of August and thereby contribute to new scientific findings.
So far, the research has examined 92 men aged 18 to 75 who were bedridden continuously for 10 to 35 days.
