Ukraine has fulfilled all the conditions for the start of negotiations on accession to the EU.
The European Commission and Ukraine have concluded negotiations on the modernisation of trade relations, Brussels announced. This is an agreement in principle and the first phase in establishing a long-term framework in the context of Ukraine's accession process. According to assurances from Brussels, the agreement takes into account the sensitivities of certain agricultural sectors highlighted by member states.
