Vlaardingen opens new winter shelter for homeless and unhoused

A new winter shelter for homeless and unhoused people opened Saturday on Hofsingel in Vlaardingen, offering services for residents of the city as well as neighboring Maassluis and Schiedam. The facility will operate for the next five years.The shelter will be open this winter until April 1, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 a.m., providing guests with a bed, shower, meals, and breakfast.
